PBS Parents Play & Learn is an app designed specifically for parents. It offers over a dozen games that parents can play with their kids, each centered around a familiar location such as the garden, grocery store, restaurant, and kitchen.

This bilingual (English/Spanish) app makes it easy for parents to take advantage of daily "teachable moments" by providing theme-based interactive games and simple hands-on activities that connect math and literacy skills to everyday experiences.

The app aims to foster a child's natural curiosity about their everyday world and encourage dialogue between kids and parents. Each game comes with a parent note that provides information about the math and literacy skills embedded in the game, as well as suggestions for effective ways to interact with a child to maximize the learning experience.
